Photographer/Fotograf

I was born and have grown up in Lucerne. In 1990, I mad the first contact with regard to photography. I all started with a simple, analogue picture mirror reflex camera.

The moving spirit behind my creative job as a photographer is the fascination for the worlds dark and mystic side. Photo editing, retouching and digital compositing are important parts of my work. Finding mystic places, abandoned objects or old castles, feel its effects and capture their magic in my pictures is the special challenge and the quintessence of dark photography.

I love taking pictures of people – especially those from the so-called “Gothic-/Fetish-/Cospaly-subculture”, because this kind of style and their way of living fascinates me. Nowhere else can people be found, who are following their own path so distinctively. There are lots and lots of different thoughts and directions in this culture – the reason, why those individuals are so complex. Capturing a part of this is my excitement. And ultimately, this is also my thoughts and feelings reflected in the pictures – because I consider myself a part of this “way of life”.

Photography is my way to capture ideas, thoughts and feelings in pictures. My goal is to point out each models provocative, aesthetical or visionary way – either in my photo studio or in a decayed environment.

I like to give my thoughts a room to become visible – that’s why I also touch the borders of human life – death is an important part in it, so important, that we should be confronted with it.

I am pleased when he/she would like to participate in these impressions and thoughts. For this, you are welcome to make use of the comment function.

A big thank you also to my models, without you these photos would not have emerged.
